This will be for both iPhone and Android Devices.

1. The "Job Description" pulldown list will be updated and the layout will look the same as the "Patrol Quick Note" pulldown list, as requested by user feedback.



2. The "Patrol Quick Note" pulldown list will be updated, as requested by user feedback.



3. In the "Help Us Improve" screen, the App Name and Version number will be filled in already, saving users time finding this information, as requested by user feedback.



4. Both the "Closed Jobs" & "Open Jobs" screens are being updated to make it easier for new users to understand how to use them, as requested by user feedback.





5. Adding "Preset Security Officer Details" into the "Settings" screen.
Users requested a quicker way to fillin the Security Officer details when completing reports. Now when your completing the "Security Officer Name, License Number and Expiry Date, simply click the "Security Officer Name" Field and the "Security Officer Details" pulldown list will appear. Select the name of the officer and their details will show in the fields you are editing.



You can add,edit and delete the details that show in the above pulldown list at anytime within the "Setting" screen. "Suburb" needs to be changed to "Town".
"State" needs to be changed to "City".
"Zip/Pcode" only allows for numbers, it needs to allow Alphanumeric for the UK, Example: LE10 25DJ.

We listened to you. The next version of Guard Buddy available in iTunes on 10th January 2013 has been tweeked to give Users an improved experience.

1. We added some of your requested fields and moved some of the data entry fields around the App in order to give Users a better, easier work flow.

2. We now have Two different kinds of Reports
(a) General Security Report

(b) Alarm Response Report

3. Even though the App wasn't created for Navigation purposes, so many of us use this in the App. So we made the Route line, Blue and Thicker. One thing that was mentioned was, if users drove off course, they would lose their Route, we have added a Refresh Button, Simply click Refresh and the iPhone Default TomTom Maps App will Re-route the quickest way to that job site.]]> What's New & What's Coming Soon to Guard Buddy! Our test users from day one commented, their clients felt a greater level of professionalism was projected just by getting these indepth reports emailed to there smart phones.

Test users liked the fact paper was no longer neccessary, this being a Greener alternative and in the end very cost effective, as once the App was purchased that was it, compared to Alarm Response or Guard Report Books that are anywhere from $20-$40 depending on the print,book size and duplication required, normally these were only good for 50 or so Reports before a new book was needed.

We have also found Security Officer Subcontractors/Employees wanting to take up the App to keep their own records and protect themselves.

When a Job or Report is completed (Emailed or Saved), the App will compile the report into a PDF for the user to quickly email selected or all concerned parties, as well as add a custom email address if needed. A PDF Report is also then saved in the "Closed Jobs" section for the user to review or email again at a later date.

The "Home" Screen consists of your Logo, Company Name and contact details, this also becomes the header of your PDF Reports. We've also add 3 Quick Dial buttons, you can customize the label and phone number of each button. Police, Controlroom, Patrol Supervisor. You can edit these by going to the "Settings" Screen.

To start a report simply click on "Create Reports" Their are only a few mandatory field throughout the report, to see what they are, take a look at the "FEATURES PAGE" on this site, or simply click next and the App will advise you of the neccessary field before allowing you to continue with the report.

You can enter contact details maunually or use your phone contacts. We have also made it easy for you to add manually enter contact information to your Phones contacts (saving you time, if you need the information again later for another job).

We wanted the App to be useful, not just a eDocket and Guard report replacement. So once you have filled in the "Job Site Address" click on "GET DIRECTIONS". Google maps will popup within the App and actually guide you to the job location, YES, THATS RIGHT, its not a static picture. Your position will move on the map at street level, so if you have never been there before or its a new client, the Guard Buddy App will help you find it.

In the "Requested By:" details we have placed a "CALL BACK" Button, its the little things, Right!

The Report has a bunch of reporting fields, for most situations, most are optional to use.

Adding photos to your reports can be invaluable. This is done when you reach the "Scene Photos" Screen.
Either add photos from your library or from your camera, even add a brief desciption. For an example take a look at the "FEATURES PAGE".

If you're half way through a report and you recieve a phone call, your phone dies or for some other reason the App shuts down. Go to the "Open Jobs" Screen and click the Job Name you were working on to continue filling out the report.
